What is an Escape Room?
An escape room, also known as an escape game, is a game in which a team of players cooperatively discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to progress and accomplish a specific goal in a limited amount of time. The goal is often to escape from the site of the game.
Escape rooms became popular in North America, Europe and East Asia in the 2010s.
The first rooms in MN began to appear in mid 2015. At Solve Entertainment Escape Rooms, we opened our first game in November of 2015…one of the earliest creators of such games in the state. Solve has been going strong ever since, having produced 8 separate experiences including the currently running In-Person game THE BABYSITTERS, and one of the first On-Line only experiences PROFESSOR PRANK!

Pretty difficult, actually! That said…you do not need any special talent other than using your brain and acting fast. This, however, does not necessarily mean that everybody can finish the game!
Almost always. Most of our games are very appropriate for children 8 and up. Please know, though, in-person games are not child-proofed and you must gauge your child’s sensitivity to being in immersive environments with unique use of lights, sounds, and atmospheres. Solve puts a warning on any game not kid appropriate…unless it says ‘This game is not appropriate for children.’ then it IS appropriate for children!
No, come as you are! However, we recommend that you bring the least amount of belongings and accessories possible with you in order to move comfortably and fast during the game.
Extra points if you do decide to to come dressed with a theme.
Yes. There will be real time monitoring in all of the rooms.
Of course! What kind of place do you think we’re running? Handwashing is one of our greatest priorities!
